Eric “E-Rock” Schod

Eric is the youngest of the Schod brothers.

He spent his elementary years trying to find an instrument that spoke to him. When he was 8 years old, he began playing violin, and at age 10, he began playing drums.

It wasn’t until he was 14 years old when his older brother, Chris, received a bass guitar for Christmas, that Eric began playing. He was able to combine his lobe for rhythm with his love of melody and rest is history…

For the past five years, he has been studying one-on-one with Philip Mann who is currently the touring bassists for the Drifters.

Eric is heavily influenced by his love for R&B, funk and blues. He is a huge fan of James Jamerson, Jack Bruce and Pino Palladino.
